camp_amb2_g3
  • The whole camp lives on the roof, so a weekend away is a five-minute decision, not a whole production.
  • I spend the week looking at screens, this is how I switch it off.

Mounting

Quick release.

The friction in a roof top tent is not the night — it is the ten minutes at each end. If setting up is a chore, you stop doing it for one night. And one-night trips are most of them.

The Low Profile uses a Quick Release Mounting System with gas struts assisting the open and close, so the tent lifts itself most of the way and folds back down without a fight. Faster set-up, faster pack-down, at both ends of the trip.

Which makes it the tent for spontaneous escapes — the Friday night decision, the single night out, the trip you would not have bothered with if it meant half an hour of wrestling.

Quick Release system

Designed for fast fitting and removal.

Gas strut assisted

The struts take the weight opening and closing.

Dual side ladder access

Enter from whichever side the camp is set up on.

All-weather

Sleep through it.

The tent that works in summer is rarely the one that works in a cold, wet spring. Ventilation and warmth pull against each other, and most tents are built for one season and endured in the other.

The Low Profile does both. Mesh windows on both sides, each with its own awning, keep air moving through the tent even in the rain and keep the view open when it is clear. For the cold end of the year, heat tubing and power access let you run warmth and light inside.

Built-in lighting and thoughtful detail across the range mean all-season comfort is designed in, not added on with a bag of accessories.

Dual side mesh windows

Cross-flow airflow and visibility from both sides.

Awnings on both sides

Windows stay open when the weather turns.

Heat tubing & power

Built-in light, not a strip added afterwards.

Comfort

Doubled up.

A thin mattress is fine for one night. By the third you are aware of every seam in the floor beneath it, and the flat bed you paid for is not doing the one thing you bought it for.

The Low Profile runs a 70mm double-layer mattress — depth plus a two-layer build for support that lasts the trip, not just the first night. An integrated LED lighting system runs inside, and there is a storage and device viewing pocket for the phone at the end of the day.

External shoe bags keep the boots outside where they belong, so what comes into the tent is you and not half the campsite.

70mm double layer

Two-layer construction for support that holds up.

Integrated LED lighting

Built-in light, not a strip added afterwards.

Shoe bags & pockets

External shoe bags, plus a storage and device pocket inside.

Accessory channels

A tent that is also a platform.

Fit a roof top tent and you usually retire your roof. The platform you built up, the accessories you fitted, the space you were using — all of it gives way to the tent.

The Low Profile has accessory channels integrated into the hard top and down the sides, so the closed tent becomes a functional mounting platform in its own right. The gear that lost its home when the tent went on can go straight back up top.

It is the difference between a tent that takes over your build and a tent that joins it.

Integrated channels

Built into the hard top, not bolted on.

Side channels too

Extra mounting down the sides of the shell.

Keeps your setup

Accessories stay on the roof with the tent fitted.

Profile

Slim on top.

Closed, a roof top tent spends far more of its life driving than sleeping. That is where a tall shell costs you — in drag, in fuel, in the car park you can no longer use and the wind noise all the way there.

The Low Profile closes to 200mm. A slim, aerodynamic shell that cuts the frontal area a taller tent puts into the airstream, at 69kg — so the tent you carry all week is doing less damage on the days you are not sleeping in it.

A sleek design with the touring features built in, rather than a compromise between the two.

200mm closed

A genuinely slim line when it is packed away.

69kg

Full touring specification in a low-profile shell.

Aerodynamic shell

Less frontal area means less drag and less noise.

Zwifloc Channels Nuts

The patented Zwifloc™ fastening system lets you mount, move and swap accessories anywhere along your bars, platform or deck, without disturbing anything else already up there. One clever channel nut, endless setups.

Drop in, not thread in

Traditional channel nuts have to be fed in from the end of the bar and slid into place. The patented Zwifloc™ nut drops straight into the channel wherever you need it and sits flush under the lip, no end-loading, no aperture to line up.

Place it anywhere

Add a bike carrier between two roof boxes, or slot a light bracket into the last free gap, without loosening and shuffling everything else along. Every accessory goes exactly where you want it, and the rest of your setup stays put.

Twist in, twist out

A turn of the bolt rotates a high-tensile nut to lock beneath the channel edge; back it off and it lifts straight out. Add, remove or reposition your gear in seconds, and change your layout as the trip demands.

One ecosystem

The same Zwifloc™ hardware works across Pioneer platforms, Reconn-Deck bars and crossbars, so your accessories move with you. Many products now ship with Zwifloc built in, and gear you already own can be retrofitted.
