THE STORY
Vortex, evolved.
For years the Vortex was our aerodynamic crossbar, trusted on thousands of vehicles across the country. We took everything that made it great, the strong aluminium profile, the channel that accepts a huge range of accessories, the quiet ride, and refined it into the Sportz Bar. Same DNA, same fit philosophy, sharpened.
So the Vortex has not disappeared, it has grown up. Every vehicle that fitted a Vortex still fits a Sportz.

The Vortex has been replaced by the Sportz Bar. It is no longer sold new by Rhino-Rack, though some retailers may still have stock. Existing Vortex bars remain fully supported.
No. Your Vortex bar is safe to keep using and fully supported. There is no need to upgrade.
Around 9 in 10 do, because they share the same channel. Some leg setups need an adaptor and a few discontinued accessories will not carry over. Use Fit My Vehicle to confirm the exact setup for your car.
Yes. Replacement end caps, rubbers, locks and hardware are available through our spare parts range and your local dealer.
