Through implementing sustainable practices and developing products with reduced packaging, Rhino-Rack resolves to enter a new era with a focus on the minimisation of their environmental impact and protection of the planet along with its inhabitants.
A couple of our most loved products are already taking the lead in minimising the environmental impact. No longer dressed up in any plastic or foam packaging are our famed Pioneer Platforms and Backbones; instead, the products are protected with recyclable cardboard. With thousands of products sold each year this is a considerable amount of packaging waste which is avoiding landfill.

Rhino-Rack creates products that encourage and help people explore the great outdoors, and for that experience to be enjoyable, it is imperative that the natural landscape retains its unfiltered beauty. Rhino-Rack has and will continue to take the initiative to implement practices that centre around the conversation of the planet, innovation of products, and the cultivation of people.

Although we have started implementing product development processes to reduce output packaging, we are aware that the aspiration to be sustainable is a continuous and ongoing process.
As such, our comprehensive Sustainability Strategy over the next 18 months to benchmark Rhino-Rack’s future goals and outcomes includes, but is not limited to, extending product life spans by 10%, achieving a recycling rate of 90% and planting 10,000 trees across key markets.
With the incorporation of current and future sustainable approaches towards business practices, Rhino-Rack’s commitment to helping the environment is paramount to ensuring that future generations can enjoy the incredible outdoors.
