A photographic journal with Jeremy Richardson from Olliepop Films.

“We headed up to Thredbo for some split-boarding from dead horse gap into the Kosciuszko Mountain Range then straight into fun offshore surf conditions at Merimbula.”

Rhino-Rack: What vehicle are you driving and what, if any mods have you made to it?

Jeremy Richardson: I’m driving a 2011 Subaru Forester Turbo Diesel 2.0L, no mods just with Rhino Rack rails, the 550L roof-box and the Sunseeker awning with tag-along-tent for the perfect Australian adventure mobile!

Rhino-Rack: How does your Rhino-Rack gear help on these missions?

Jeremy Richardson: Having the Rhino Rack LED kit was amazing for being able to see at night, it rained one night but we were safe and sound under the Sunseeker Awning and come morning the Tag-a-long tent offered a view of the new day that money simply can’t buy.

Jeremy Richardson: Making sure you pack appropriately is key. The Rhino-Rack box is great for surfboards and for wet gear to keep the car dry, it also means theres room in the back for a couple of friends and a boot full of stuff.

Rhino-Rack: What is it about exploring the outdoors you like?

Jeremy Richardson: Getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the adrenaline of snowboarding, the freedom of surfing, the calmness of camping… oh and the bonfires and roasting marshmallows!

Rhino-Rack: What do you do for a living?

Jeremy Richardson: I’m a freelance videographer & creator of short films. I'm the videographer for Australian snowboard production company 'Olliepop Films' and part of a creative duo at Chasing Peaks Collective, a digital content creative group.
